So I did a bit of an experiment…
The floppy on the left is done with the traditional bobble stitch pixel art method. The one on the right is the same pattern, except instead of single crocheting between each row of bobbles, I slip stitched instead. Now the only tricky bit about this was, that because of the nature of slip stitches, they tend to be a bit tight. So I had to be extra loose with them in order to do the next row of bobbles. In the long run though, with the slip stitch, you have more of a square shape vs the single crochet which adds just a tab bit of extra space that will add up in the end making an originally square pattern more of a rectangle.
It is seriously interesting what a few extra inches will do. (and yes that is my couch)

Well that pretty much sums me up in a nutshell. What else can I tell you? Hmmmm…. ponders. I am a lover, not a fighter. I enjoy a good book and a cup of tea on a cold winter night (well any night really). I have a BFA in Graphic Design, recently graduated. Some of my favorite things are Doctor Who, Sherlock, Harry Potter, Dragonriders of Pern, The Time Traveler’s Wife (yes I am the essential geek girl and proud of it).
